The curtain has been lifted on the evident connection between Dizzy Dros and El Grande Toto. Recently, the two Moroccan rappers, among the most popular and widely listened to at the moment, shared photos on social media showcasing their camaraderie, sparking a flurry of speculation. Many fans assumed that the duo, whose fame and popularity are skyrocketing, were hinting at an upcoming collaboration. However, that was not the case.

The nature of their partnership is now clearer: Dizzy Dros and El Grande Toto are the patrons and principal judges of Morocco's first rap talent show. Titled "Jam Show" and premiering on May 7 on 2M, the competition is produced by Public Prod, the same company behind "Dream Artist" and "Ahssan Pâtissier," among others.

Approximately 200 applications were submitted to the production team and talent scouts. A selection committee, including an artistic director, a casting director, and the two stars, narrowed down the pool to 24 aspiring rappers who will compete on the show.

The contestants will perform in front of a jury that, in addition to Dizzy Dros and El Grande Toto, includes rappers Khtek, Small X, Dada, and Othman (H-Kayne). The finalists will embark on a tour across several Moroccan cities, with the grand winner earning the title of best rapper and a prize of 250,000 dirhams to fund their debut album.

Structured into six 60-minute episodes, "Jam Show" will also feature daily 5-minute capsules, giving viewers a glimpse of the contestants during rehearsals and behind-the-scenes moments, as is customary for talent shows of this genre.
