Warner Music MENA Signs Moroccan Heavyweights Dizzy DROS, Snor, and Kouz1 in Major Regional Power Move

Warner Music Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has officially signed three of Morocco’s most influential rap artists—Dizzy DROS, Snor, and Kouz1—marking a bold step in the label’s expansion across the region’s thriving hip-hop scene.

Described by Warner as more than a deal—“a power shift”—the partnership signals a new era for North African rap. With unique styles and loyal fanbases, these three trailblazing artists are shaping the future of Moroccan music.

“This isn’t a move, it’s a power shift. North Africa, get ready — we’re rewriting the game,” Warner Music MENA teased in an Instagram post.

Leading the Movement

Dizzy DROS, often dubbed the king of Moroccan rap, is known for his razor-sharp lyrics and powerful messages. Tracks like “M3a L3chran”, “Men Hna”, and the viral “Al Motanabbi” have solidified his influence across generations.

Celebrating the deal on social media, DROS called it “the biggest deal in the history of Moroccan rap,” adding:

“Legacy isn’t built overnight. It takes years of work behind the scenes, belief when no one’s watching, and moves that speak louder than words.”

Rising Stars with Global Reach

Snor, known for his enigmatic persona and meticulous artistry, has amassed millions of views with hits like “Dawnk Liya” and “Hkaya,” the latter racking up over 120 million views on YouTube. His unique blend of mystery and emotion has made him a standout in the regional scene.

Kouz1 brings Afrobeat-infused energy to Moroccan rap. A pioneer in fusing Darija with modern African rhythms, Kouz1 has carved out a sound that bridges continents. Fans can expect new music soon, with the artist teasing upcoming releases that push creative boundaries even further.

Warner’s North African Vision

Imane Fassih, Warner Music’s Managing Director for North Africa, emphasized the label’s excitement and commitment:

“We are incredibly proud to welcome Dizzy DROS, Snor, and Kouz1 to the Warner Music family. Each of them represents a different voice and vision, and together, they’re helping redefine the sound of a generation. We’re honored to support their journeys.”

The move underlines Warner’s strategy to invest in local talent while positioning MENA artists on the global stage.
